We are adding an Account Manager to our Lanworth sales team in Chicago. The Account Manager will manage the relationship between our existing Lanworth account base and the Lanworth analysts, retain & grow revenue, and maximize market share at designated accounts to improve customer satisfaction. In addition the candidate will develop and execute an account strategy, coordinates account activities to provide strong, consistent service levels to each customer, and work with Client Specialists and Solution Sales to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions.

Primary responsibilities:

- Manage, retain and grow revenue, responsible for sales and accountable for service performance
- Look for opportunities to develop Enterprise-wide relationship between Thomson Reuters and the client
- Renew Lanworth contracts and migrate to strategic platforms.
- Manage the transition of accounts to Thomson Reuters Service contracts and account teams.
- Coordinate bi-weekly conference calls between clients and Lanworth analysts.
- Develop and maintain a strong, high level, contact network within each account to ensure engagement with end users, managers and senior executives
- Drive execution of Thomson Reuters strategy at the account level
- Identify new opportunities
- Work with and utilize experts/specialists onto the team where required, has oversight of all account activities
- Prioritize and direct resources in the account team

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Financial industry experience, Agriculture experience preferred.
- Ability to understand our customers and their business model and workflows
- Strong relationship management and team leadership qualities
- Selling skills include the ability to identify, develop and advance sales opportunities by articulating complex value propositions and guide a consultative sales approach
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to develop and execute an account plan while solving customer problems and advancing sales opportunities
- Relate well to end users, technical staff and executive management at various times while working with the customer
- Track record of success and high achievement carrying a quota and managing a book of business
